This morning started out great. I woke up and headed over to the Y for an upbeat cardio SPINNING class. It kicked my butt…well, my legs actually. I was sweating like crazy by the end of it. I stayed after class finished to do some AB exercises using the big exercise ball. I hope to get another short AB workout in tonight before bed. I’ll let you know if that happens.
After Spin class ended, I met up with a lady who introduced to some awesome products that I am excited to try and potentially market to others. It is known as XOCAI Chocolate & I was told about it two weeks ago by a friend of mine. It is chocolate that is super-healthy, natural, and Anti-oxidant rich. It is good stuff. I’ll be posted a lot more information about the product on my site soon, but I already have ordered myself the “Power Squares” to take on a daily basis. I also ordered a case of the X3 energy drink they offer. This is a great replacement for those caffeine junkies out there…you know who you are! ~ It is an all natural energy drink that uses the natural stimulator known as ‘theobromine’. Theobromine is a vasodilator, same as caffeine, but does not have the negative side effects on the body. I’m so excited to start supplementing my diet with it. I know others who drink it once per day and their energy levels have soared; and, most of all, they have broken their habits of ingesting excessive amounts of caffeine on a daily basis. WHOOP!!
Well, on to eats for today. I have only snapped ONE picture so far, because I’m just not quite back into the habit of it yet. ~ I started out with a POWERBALL after Spin class to give my muscles some re-building fuel.
Then I sampled a Xocai Active “shot” is what I would call it. Loaded with anti-oxidants, 90 calories, and tasted like I was drinking down a shot-glass amount of pure chocolate bliss. I don’t understand how it can taste so good & only be 90 calories with zero fat, but it’s because it’s the purest cold-pressed Cacoa! Yum!
Since I stayed at the ladie’s home into lunch hour, she offered to share with me the “wellness” shake that she drinks on a routine basis. It can be used as a weight-loss shake if you take 2 scoops, or a “wellness” shake if you only use 1 scoop of powder. She mixed 1 scoop with a little 2% milk + 3 ice cubes and mixed it using the Magic Bullet ~ tasted like I was drinking chocolate milk. It was oh-so-good. And definitely hit the spot after the morning workout.
Once I got home I started doing odd jobs around the house and decided on an afternoon snack about 3PM. I ate a PERFECT Banana & fixed a piece of toast topped with LC (Laughing Cow) Light Swiss Cheese & a tid-bit of tomato/basil sauce (Kroeger brand). After I ate it, I recited the words “My snack is done. My stomach is not longer empty. I am nourished & will not need anything else until dinner tonight. Go in peace.” It worked. I felt finality with ending my snack & I did not return to the kitchen. Well, only to get another glass of water!
So you are probably wondering why the title ‘High to Low’ ~ it is because my day started out so great, but totally went down-hill when I heard some bad news pertaining to my apartment I’m trying to sub-lease. Long story short, I thought I was going to be sub-leasing my apartment for this coming semester so I would not have that added cost, but it didn’t work out. I’m back to square one. Bummer.
I didn’t let that bad news totally ruin my day, though. I went to my grandparents house for dinner with my Dad, but I stopped off for some Subway since I was craving it! And boy was it delicious. I also ate some lots of green-beans my grandma made & had a Caffeine free Dt. Dew while I was there. ~ I’m really trying to cut those out of my life, but right now I’m just trying to cut it back to having one every other day. It is a great ‘sweet tooth’ replacement for me, which is why I can’t seem to cut them totally just yet.
For evening snack I had a tangelo & a piece of toast with a smidge of PB and SF Jelly like last night. It was very tasty. I said my final saying so I knew the snack had ended. No more food until after BodyPump in the morning!
Well, I’m off to do some research on Shakeology & XOCAI. Catch ya all tomorrow!
